Web Application Developer
The Web Application Developer designs, develops and maintains custom applications or configuration of corporate application systems and services. In addition, the individual analyzes and designs application systems encompassing the development, modification and translation of user requirements.
Design, code, test and modify web-based applications.
Interact with network, security, database or other support teams to support existing applications.
Create and maintain technical documentation and user guides.
Work closely with operations and infrastructure teams to schedule, deploy and validate software into staging and production environments.
The Ideal Candidate
Bachelors or Professional Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent. Minimum of 2 year’s working experience as a programmer/analyst.
Candidate should have a strong understanding of web development standards including security best practices, cross-browser compatibility, and responsive design.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
Experience with the following technologies is preferred:
- Java, Spring MVC
- Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), RESTful Web Services
The successful candidate will be self-motivated and interested in working closely with business stakeholders and other IT teams to deliver value to our customers.
