Financial Analyst- Rebates

Job Introduction

Responsible for the review, evaluation and execution of customer contracts related to Customer Rebates.  Entering, monitoring and reviewing the information in Excel and Access

Role Responsibility

  1. Ability to read and execute based on language described in customer contracts
  2. Ability to assure customer rebates are computed accurately and on a timely basis based on contract language
  3. Development of analytical procedures to assure computations are accurate and trending consistently
  4. Ability to communicate clearly with both internal and external customers
  5. Expert level in Excel.  You will be tested to prove your knowledge.
  6. Advanced knowledge of Access.  You will be tested to prove your knowledge.
  7. Key player in the development and testing of new rebate engine
  8. Key contact with both internal and external auditors

Additional Responsibilities:

Selection and development of staff members that have the proper abilities to grow within the job.

Ability to be self-driven to understand the tools in place and maximize their use.  Leader that can influence peers to automate manual process, and use the systems in place to their fullest potential.

The Ideal Candidate

Education:

Minimum:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

Preferred:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

 

Experience:

Minimum:

One year of progressive experience working within an accounting of finance team with demonstrated analytical skills.  Advanced expert in Excel and Access.  Understanding of basis points.
